Opss I did it again !

I got my Proton Wira repainted during the break. The mechanics told me tat the paint is not fully dry yet. Not i have to take good care of it.

On the day I got back from my break, I used a tissue to wipe off a stain on the boot of my car. It caused a scratch there. Fortunately, it was undo by polishing.

And a few days back, I did the same thing again. This time is on the roof of my car. I tried to wipe off a bird shit from the roof, then it creates a "crater" (See picture)

Opss! I did it again! Guess I never learn...

haiz....

Lao Zha Bor @ blogspot.com ???

The senior actress from Singapore who acted in along with Fann Wong (as Tanya Chew) and Gurmit Singh (as Lim Teng Zui) has a really blog. ALthough she herself mentioned about her blog (laozhabor.blogspot.com), but I though it was only make-up for the movie.

Then I came across the blog a few days ago. The author of the blog is the actress herself (I dunno what is her name...)

I present you with: Lao Zha Bor at blogspot

Facing extinction...

Today I went to the Green Garden Vegetarian shop for lunch. There I found a DVD with a cover showing a wolf and a caption on it. Below is the duplicate of the cover.

Caption: "I am skinned because you desire a cloth"

Hair cut for RM 4

I got my hair cut just in front MMU, the Creative Studios at Emerald Park. Well, I actually went to its Academy for the hair cut. I was served by a lovely lady, but too bad she's not a student in the Academy though. She's on of the Professionals, I guess. She asked another student to cut my hair, while she constantly teach and give comment to her. I rather not talk about the student. She reminds me of a Indo maid. An Indo maid cut my hair... (~_~")

Anyway, for RM 4, it's worth while getting my hair cut there. As it was nice, not too bad. Any other place in Bkt Beruang cost around RM 10 to get a haircut. However, my haircut session took around 45 mins. So if u dun mind waiting for the un-pros to work on yr hair, then u can visit the Creative Studios Academy.

Why aren't all the fashion shops have these...?

Yishion sounds like a Japanese name, but it's actually the name for the new fashion shop in MP. What I loved the most is, there's a Info Kiosk in the shop where shoppers can spent their quality time with their loved ones and at the same time, and enjoy surfing the web. This applied to those Boyfriends out there whom their girlfriends like to shop. There are 2 Kiosk there. A Computer equipped with internet, and an entertainment Kiosk (New Movie Trailers & Hot Music).

The kiosk is located right in front of the changing room. So u can surf while waiting for yr GF to change into her new dress.

Back to Bkt. Beruang again !

After the end of every semester break, it'll be a headache for me. I need to re-pack all my stuff including my computer back to my hostel in Bkt. Beruang. Sometimes I wonder: "Am I moving to Bkt Beruang permanently?". Cos I have brought so many things back before the break.

However, things have changed. I found someone who bring more things than me. Even transporting her stuff for 2 times to Bkt. Beruang seems not enough. She needs to pack 10+ begs for her stuff. And this "award" goes to my sister Mandy. It's incredible how she could pack so many stuff to her hostel.

I think I need to sleep now. It's 230 am in the morning. Got to re-adjust my body clock like how it is during my break, on bed before 1 am. haha ^_^

GOOD NIGHT !

City of Lions - Part 2

2nd day:
We went to Orchid Road. It's a long street full of shops. But all super brand shops. I can't afford the stuff there! There's nothing that interest me too! So I didn't bought a thing there. I found out the McD Chicken Burger there was just S$2. Much cheaper compared to Malaysia, but after currency exchange, it'll become RM 5.00. (~_~") That's expansive! haha!

3rd day:
We went to Suntec City, where the ~Fountain of Wealth~ is located. I got to know the place through Dong Feng TV channel. It is said to be built similar to a human palm, with 5 office buildings resembles the 4 fingers and the thumb. At the center, a fountain flowing water inwards shows wealth is flowing into the palm. This is a Feng Shui design to give wealth to Singapore.

Then we went to China town where we can do our shopping. I heard the things here are cheap! Cheap! But after the currency exchange, it's not really as cheap! I bought myself a red T-Shirt with a Singapore label.

4th day:
Pack-up my luggage and returned home in one piece. We were late for the bus, and arrive just right in time before the bus leaves for Malacca Central. On the way back, the bus stopped at a R&R. Not the one on the highway, but those off highway. The stuff there were expansive, a waffle for RM 3.50.

FYP: a headache!

The new trimester is starting soon. Well, my only concern for the new trimester is to decide for my Final Year Project (FYP) title. It's kinda complicated to choose a suitable topic. Whether to choose from the topic released by the lecturers, or to propose our own topic.

Proposing our own topic will guarantee absolute success in getting the proposed topic. But I'm very unsure of what topic to propose. It's also mind cracking to think of a suitable topic.

Now KK and me have 2 topics to choose from. We've booked both topic with the lecturer, one for our group and another for CW and Phua. So it is only a matter of which group taking which topic. I've done my research online on both topics but still can't decide on which topic is better and suitable for us.

At least the topic is secure for us, so there's no worries of not able to get any topic. Thus end up dropping the FYP subject, which may lead to extension of another trimester (late graduation).

So confuse now !!!

"Ways Around University Life" is just a temporary blog name for this blog, cos I can't really think of any other name :-P

I'm cracking my head to think of a better name. Hopefully I do not need change it again! haha! ^_^

City of Lions - Part 1

I'm back for almost 1 week from my trip to the Lion City: Singapore

The trip there was quite smooth. A four hours trip to our Malaysia Custom. What surprised me was the attitude of the Malaysia custom officers check our passports! There's a entry where we must show our passport to cross the bridge to Singapore. I showed my passport as i walked through the post, but the officer wasn't watching at all!! I think she won't even notice if anyone without a passport pass through. It was a different story at the Singapore custom on my way back to Malaysia though. They checked every passport. This is the 1st reason Singapore is so well developed! We arrived at our accommodation around 7pm.

We went to Sentosa Island, a MUST visit place if you were to visit Singapore, so I thought. To my disappointment, The Island was merely a place where there's Pink Dolphins, collection of the history of Singapore, and the Merlion (symbolic icon of Singapore, a Lion with a body of a fish) is located! A friend told us about a Theme Park on Sentosa Island. The bad news was it still in construction. (~_~") lolz !

The staffs in Sentosa were so kind and helpful and polite! Their ways of treating visitors were so professional, unlike those in Malaysia, where visitors complaints of the quality of services.

We visited the:

Underwater World
not much different compared with other underwater world. This is the 1st attraction we went. We took a Taxi from Singapore to Sentosa. When I told the driver "Marine Park", we didn't know I was referring to Underwater World.

Dolphin Lagoon
where the Pink Dolphins are located. They performed stuns, play with the trainers, and splashed water at visitors who wants to take their photo.

Pahlawan Beach

4D Cinema - 3D glasses + Windy environment + Unexpected water spray

Fort Siloso
Old fort where the British army defended themselves against Japanese invasion.

It has human-like "dolls" of the Japanese and British officers. It closes at 530 pm. Maybe something supernatural will happen after night falls. Creepy!

Images of Singapore
Shows of how different races in Singapore enjoyed the development!

Sky Tower
A tower where u can have a 360 degrees view of Sentosa and Singapore

Merlion
