A lady friend has changed her habit of how she lists her names on her Mobile phone after her handbag was stolen. Her handbag which contained her mobile phone, credit card, purse...etc. ... was stolen.
20 minutes later when she called Her Hubby from a pay phone telling him What had happened, Hubby says "I've just received your text asking about our Pin number and I've replied a little while ago."
When they rushed down to the bank, the bank staff told them all the money Was already withdrawn. The pickpocket had actually used the stolen hand phone to text "hubby" in The contact list and got hold of the pin number.
Within 20 minutes he had withdrawn all the money from the bank account.
Moral of the lesson:
1. Do not disclose the relationship between you and the people in your contact List.
2. Avoid using names like Home, Honey, Hubby, sweetheart, Dad, Mum etc.......
3. And very importantly, when sensitive info is being asked thru texts (SMS), CONFIRM by calling back .
4. Also, when you're being texted (SMS) by friends or family to meet them somewhere,
Be sure to call back to confirm that the message came from them.
If you don't reach them, be very careful about going placesto meet "family and friends" who text (SMS) you.

求学考试不顺利；恋爱拍拖不顺利；职场工作不顺利……
人生也有很多的“不想”。
不想温习考试；不想没钱用；不想和朋友大吵一架；不想孤单时没人陪；不想爱人不在身边；不想早上爬起来上课……
要如何避免不愉快与“不想”的事情？
要不愉快远离你，最重要你自己要活得快乐，保持心情愉快。可是往往说比做简单。
要避免做“不想”做的事？这就有点困难了！除非与世隔绝，不然都必须经历这一些事情。
人生短短几十年，为何不把握？让自己活得开心，身边的人也开心。世上不会有人因为身边的人不快乐，而自己感到很快乐！相反的，他们会因为身边的人心情愉快，自己也开心！

Guess where I took this meal? Thai Lime Sauce Chicken Chop Rice. It costs only RM 4.00. There is garlic rice, an egg, salad (mayonise is provided at the counter), and chicken chop with Thai Lime sauce.
Actually I took it at Ixora Food Court for lunch. The taste was just ok. Not too bad if u wanna try something new.

Just cleaned my aquarium. Haven't put the fish in b'cos wanna let the water cool down to room temperature. Transferring fish from water of different temperature will make the fish ill.
I bought a mini hanging pump filter. Wanna create an aquarium eco-system. Too bad I didn't buy any seaweed, cos my room is too dark for seaweed to grow unless I buy a aquarium lamp.

The connection is so slow that I can't even connect to my SRO game. The ping is around 600ms (usually is 300+ ms), which is horrible. I tried restarting the modem a few times and yet I still get the same problem.

Just having broadband is not enough! Quality and quantity both are equally important. What is the purpose of broadband when I can't even connect to my game.
Tmr is my FYP presentation. I'm so nervous! I did my rehearsal twice, afternoon and night. It takes around 24 mins. Hopefully I can do better during the presentation. haha... my presentation is at 440 pm. WISH ME LUCK!
So sien! Hot weather! Even after taking shower, I can still feel the heat. My FYP presentation is coming, this Friday. Today, KK ask me whether we need to let our supervisor to have a look at our presentation slides. Chee Yoong also recommended us to let our supervisor know what we are presenting this Friday so that he may help out. However, I am worried that the more frequent we go consult our supervisor, the worst impression we will give to him.
We tried to consulted him a few times (not more than 6 times). Every visit was unpleasant. There's once we when to consult him at his consultation hour. We reach his room and knock at the door. We knew he was inside, but than the door was locked. We waited for 30 seconds 
but still no response. So we knock again, and then only he came to the door. He stuck his head out through the small gap between the door and frame, and asked whether we had anything? We felt like he was not welcoming us. Even unwilling to let us into the room. So we told about the purpose of us consulting him. Then only he let us in.
Last week, I went to consult him to clear some doubts on our FYP. But he had a visitor there, so I asked whether I can come back at 3pm (his FYP consultation hour). He nodded. So KK and me went after lunch at 3 pm to see him. We meet him on our way to his room. Below was the conversation:
Mr. L: "Is there anything?"
(On his hand was a thermos, he's going out to take hot water, I guess)
KK: "We wanna see you regarding our FYP"
Mr. L: "Can u come on my office hour?"
Me: "Sir, I had booked with u this morning. I told I would come back at 3pm."
He dun really remember by the looks on his face. Then he walked back towards 
his room, and peak on his timetable to find a slot for us to come back. What he saw was that time, 3 pm is his FYP consultation hour. Only then he unwillingly let us into his room, and gave us advice. But we know that he was not happy about it.
After all that, I am very afraid to go consult him. The least the best. Who knows what he would do to our FYP coursework marks as 70% is on his hand.
It is maybe due to the influence of the previous seniors. They only meet him 3 times. 1st for FYP title registration, 2nd to show him the product, 3rd before their final presentation. One thing to note is the seniors only started their work on the 3rd trimester. They did nothing during FYP Part 1 (1st Trimester). Thus, giving Mr. L an impression that we have a lot of problems compared to the seniors. Now most of his FYP students are not sure whether to consult him to clear their doubts. Even better was KK and me have more side-supervisors. We
consulted other lecturers more than we consulted Mr. L. Because everytime we asked whether this could work, he'll answer: "It's up to you!". What the hell! If we know it would work, what's the purpose of us consulting you...??
Cannot sleep!!! Why cannot sleep?? It's 244 am in the morning. I wanna sleep. Still have presentation tmr. Pls Godness of the Dream World, bring me to sleep.
Opps! TNB did it again! Power outage at 2am last night. This time I was lucky. I head to bed early last night. So I didn't get affected... wahahaa...
I heard from rumor tat there's going to be power outage for 5 consecutive nights. From saturday onwards to wednesday, due to installation of new electric cables. Hopefully it's after midnight. But that would also be a problem. Would I need to shut down my PC during bed time. But I'm not sure about the reliability of the rumor. What should I do?
Staying back over this weekend is already boring. Wat even worst was the blackout that happened last night. I'm alone in the house when it all happened. I was sitting in front of my computer surfing the web, and without any warning, I plunged into total darkness. My first reaction was look out my window, and found out the whole street was dark. No light at all! Lucky for me did I put my mobile phone on the computer table, I reached out for it and used it as a torch light as I get my real torch light. Buying a torch light when I went for Ying Xin camp was proven useful last night. Then I head out to the kitchen with my torch light to light a candle. Everything seems dark and a bit scary as I was the only one at home. Crippy!
I head back to my room with a candle (and torch light, of course!). Everything was fine when it gets very hot. I played around with my mobile phone on my bed. The heat really drives me nuts. So I went out of the house to get some breeze (not to mention some mosquitoes too!)
I waited and waited, yet the electricity was still not recovered. I heard the neighbours told that they had call up TNB. Well, yesterday was the 2nd day they started fasting. I waited till my eyes auto shut down and went to sleep. I kept my room door open for more air circulation into my room. Why did this happened when I'm here? Why not happen last weekend when I wasn't here. sigh...
Today Rain and me went for shopping in Mahkota Parade and Pahlawan Mall. It's a public holiday, Ramadan or Buka Puasa. We intented to take lunch at Pizza Hut, but the lunch hour set was not available on public holiday. So we head out searching for food. We came to Sibaraku, near Sushi King. There's 2 sections in Sibaraku. On the left is the hot plate restaurant, and on the right is the Japanese Restaurant. We went to the Japanese Restraurant.
To our suprise, Sibaraku is having their 12 years anniversery promotion. Every 2 piece set sushi, or 6 piece set small sushi, or 1 piece set handroll for only RM 1.20. Yes, it's RM 1.20. Even cheaper than Sushi King RM 2 Bonanza.
So we ordered a few sets of sushi, 2 handrolls, and a hot plate set (with hot-plate chicken, rice, soup, steamed egg, vegetables, and a potato salad).

As for our dinner, we went back to Sibaraku again. Now we only ordered 4 sets sushi and 4 handrolls (Soft Shell Crab Handroll and Prawn Handroll). Both Soft Shell Crab Handroll and Prawn Handroll cost RM 1.20 each. Very worth it!
But later found out that those were not enough. So we ordered another 2 set of my favorate sushi: Unagi Sushi. The sushi tasted much better than those in Sushi King, and cheaper too.
We spent only RM 14 for our dinner (6 sets of sushi + 4 handrolls)
终于到了FYP Presentation Week了！昨天完成了第一轮的Presentation，虽然我不是这个星期发表Presentation，可是昨天从十点早上开始，直到傍晚六点才回家。为了从第一轮的Presentation中吸取经验，我不得不这么做！
昨天看了很多的Presentation，不清楚有几个，应该是六到七个吧！可以说我比supervisor和moderator都勤力，朝五晚六。昨天的确让我对Presentation更有信心了！因为大家的Presentation各有千秋，虽然当中也有不堪入目的。有些甚至连自己在这个学期作了什么，都不知道！对自己的FYP完全不了解！加上没有充分的准备，连slides也是presentation前，在当场做增加和修改。服装更是不用说了，不是formal，像是要去逛街的hip hop一族。晕……
当然大家的presentation都不错，可是其中就有几个刁蛮的“旁观教授”。他们并不是学生的supervisor，或是当场的moderator（打分的老师）。就是纯粹到场观赏presentation。到场的观众都有权利发问，可是其中一个教授，Dr. K发问的方法，咄咄逼人，让我们班的SB招架不住，差点当场落泪。当时包括supervisor和moderator，有六个教授，加上30+学生。Dr. K当时否认了她这个学期说做的survey，说是与她的题目Design New Framework没有关系，就连Mr. Ammar（SB的supervisor）想为她辩解，也被Dr. K阻止了！当场像教授们的争斗，多过像presentation的Q&A session。我替SB感到无奈，也很同情她。
真希望我的moderator不会这样对我吧！
